Welcome to the River City Saloon website. We are delighted to have brought this historic building and saloon back to the citizens and visitors to Hood River. If you’ve never been to the River City Saloon in years past, you missed out on an era of Hood River that culminated with its initiation as a windsurfing destination. From its opening in 1904 as the Hotel Waucoma, and through each decade to the present, a bit of history has been preserved at the River City Saloon.
You’ll know you’re in the present, however, when you visit our high speed wireless internet nook, glide over the River City’s original hardwood dance floor to the live music of regional and national musical acts, view our superscreen 6' by 8' TV, and play billiards or foosball. As you enjoy local microbrew selections or your other favorite beverage, you will hopefully feel a part of history in the making.
