Welcome to the River City Saloon website. We are delighted to have brought this historic building and saloon back to the citizens and visitors to Hood River. If you’ve never been to the River City Saloon in years past, you missed out on an era of Hood River that saw it's birth as the windsurfing and kiteboarding capital of the Columbia River Gorge. From its opening in 1904 as the Hotel Waucoma, and through each decade to the present, a bit of history has been preserved at the River City Saloon.
You’ll know you’re in the present when you experience World Premier Movies of Whitewater sports and TV sports on superscreens,and dance to live name bands on our original hardwood floor. You can also shoot pool or toss darts as you enjoy local microbrew selections or other favorite beverage and try a side of BBQ ribs. We know you'll feel a part of history in the making.
